Exhibition announcement from 1999. This show was held in a gallery space that I co-owned in San Francisco’s Union Square. Once per year we took advantage of the opportunity to showcase our own work. In addition to a few of my older works, this exhibition included the premier of Too Lost and Refined. It was the first work that I subtitled in an attempt to connect the images to speech. The words often meant one thing when read another when heard, as is evidenced in the title.
